Sally Maedic Among 37 Broodmares Offered by Naylor RIVERSIDE, Calif., June 22. Sally Maedic, a winner of 18 races in five seasons of campaigning on the California circuit, will be among the 37 fine broodmares -to be sold at the W. W. Naylor dispersal, scheduled for the Naylor and Sons Farm here Monday afternoon, beginning at 2:30 p. m. A daughter of Maedic out of Lucky Star, by Chatterton, Sally Maedic is a half-sister to Star Fiddle, winner of the inaugural running of the Del Mar Futurity and several other top flight stakes. Lucky Star produced three other good winners and herself won 15 races. Some 80 thoroughbreds will go on the block at the Monday afternoon event, conducted by the Fasig-Tipton Co. in conjunction with the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association. In addition to the 37 broodmares, 24 with foals at side, there will be 16 yearlings and three fillies of racing age.
