French Hurdle Stake to Elegant Special to Daily Racing Form PARIS, France, June 22 Reuters. Baron Guy de Rothschilds Elegant, ridden by P. Bisncone, won the 4,000 Grande de Haies dAuteuil, one of Frances major hurdle races, over three miles and one furlong on the Auteuil course here today. Elegant won by one length from M. Daniel Guestiers Le Tigre IX, while third another length behind in the field of 14 runners was Albert Sages Segpent. Elegant, four-year-old son by Sir Alphonse out of Britan-nique, is one of Frances youngest hurdle racers.
