LIBERTY LUCK gradually worked into contention between horses, came to tbe outside and was set down in the final furlong and outfinished DOUBLE H. The latter was outrun for a half mile, was guided to tht extreme outside for the stretch drive and finished with a late rush. SANDVAR was snugly rated with the pace, reached the front when urged, but weakened in the final test. WICKS STAR was a sharp factor and weakened. DING DING loomed boldly on the stretch turn and hung. RIPPISH raced off the pace for a half mile, then closed steadily under vigorous handling in the stretch and was up in the final yards GIORGETTI raced evenly along in closest attendance to the pace, wrested command in the final furlong and held on well. FULL BROTHER lacked speed and trailed into the stretch, then circled wide and finished fastest. LAUREL SPRINGS disDlaved hiqh Speed, raced slightly wide on the stretch turn, then drifted back in and tired in the stretch. ROYAL VIOLA could not keep up. RUSH PRINCE had no mishap. The latter raced around horses into command under pressure on the turn and could not resist the winner. NANS MINK was blocked and taken in hand on the turn, then closed gamely in the stretch run. FLOTILLA was outrun into the stretch, then made up ground despite attempting to lug in. SPANISH QUEEN began fast, bore out slightly on the turn and weakened.
