Leo MeMorrow to Ride In Arlington Park Hurdle Will Pilot Mountain Blue in About Two-Mile Test Tomorrow ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, 111., June 22. Leo McMorrow, rider of the Grand National Steeplechase winner in England in 1949, will be astride Mountain Blue in Fridays renewal of the ,000 added Arlington Park Hurdle Stakes. McMorrow guided Russian Hero, a 66-to-l shot, to victory over Roimonde and Royal Mount in the four miles, 856 yards Aintree featur ef regarded as the outstanding steeplechase event in the world. The Arlington Hurdle is at the about two miles distance and Austin Brown will start the field, which will be limited to 12 starters, using an English tape.
