ARMED BANDIT, slow to settle, into stride, came very wide while advancing on the second turn and wore down BROOKETTA in the final sixteenth. The latter was never a great distance back, wore down BASSINGTON from the outside on entering the stretch, gave way readily to the winner and pulled up lame. GENIE BOY passed only tiring horses. ARIEL SWEEP was never a contender. TERRACE was through early. BASSINGTON was used up in vying for the lead. WANGAN stumbled and nearly fell while racing along the inside midway round the second turn. FLAMING BUSH tired badly after showing speed for five-eighths. ...
