Roy McClarins Ohio Derby hopeful, Selinsgrove, defeated five older rivals in capturing the fifth race, which served as co-feature on the card here today. Performing coupled with Spring Grove another McClarin colorbearer, Selinsgrove came from off the pace in this one mile jaunt to down H. E. Simpsons Burnt Child by a length and a half. The latter was clearly best of the others, finishing three and a half lengths before Spring Grove, who faltered after vying for the lead the opening six furlongs and probably "softened" up Burnt Child just enough to permit his stablemate to come along and take down the top share of the ,500 purse award. Speak Free, owned by J. D.
