PECKS REWARD, never far back, responded readily when shaken up approaching the stretch, then drew clear, winning with something left. ELLSTON raced evenly for a half mile, then closed gamely but could not get to the top one. TIGER CAT was unable to better his position when set down through the stretch. NOWADAY GIRL, outrun to the stretch, failed to rally when hard urged during the drive. PEGGY D. went to the front early, made the pace for a half mile, then gave way when challenged by PECKS REWARD. GRO PRINCE lacked early foot and was never dangerous. ROUND N ROUND could not keep up. AGLARE began slowly. MARSHAWEISTA showed nothing. ETERNAL SHOCK had early foot but failed to stay. PROMPT, never far back and vell handled, responded readily while racing close to DEAR TINT through the stretch and disposed of the latter in the last strides. DEAR TINT went to the front at once, set the pace until inside the stretch, drifted out while engaging B. PROMPT during the drive and was unable to hold the latter. A foul claim against B. PROMPT by DEAR TINTS rider1 was not allowed by the stewards. MARTIAL SONG raced evenly for a half mile and could not get to the leaders when set down in the drive. MISS KIRK tired during the drive. SEDGE-VIEW raced wide. LEAS SON could not keep up. FAN FLIGHT bore out entering the stretch. POLYCHREST showed nothing. COLLECT began poorly. PIPING ECHO went to the front early, gave way io LOVELY HEART before reaching the stretch, came again when set down in the drive and, taking command, held DESTINO MISS safe. The latter, away fast and never far back, finished willingly under punishment, was unable to hold the top one, although much the best of the others. HIGH GAME was unable to reach the leaders when set down through the stretch. "TIGER TRIP raced wide. PRINCESS STELL tired during the drive. ECK-HEART failed to stay when hard ridden through the stretch. LOVELY HEART moved up fast after beginning slowly and raced with PIPING ECHO for a half mile, then stopped badly when set down in the drive. FAIR HOLIDAY was never prominent and had no excuse. The latter, in hand to the upper turn, made a good bid in the early stretch, then faltered nearing the finish. MAIDENS REWARD could not better her position when set down for the drive.
