1 LEXINGTON TURF NOTES I C. C. Van Meter arrived at Cleveland Monday morning. His string of nine horses from Keeneland arrived at North Randall Sunday morning. Dr. Cornelius Cann left Monday morning for Cleveland to remain, through the North Randall and Thistle Down meetings. Dan B. Midkiff went to Louisville to direct the shipping of fourteen horses in charge of trainer Ray Kindred from Churchill Downs to Lincoln Fields. Rush McCoy has turned out Grit and Grace at John S. Wiggins Military Stock Farm. Henry H. Knight left Monday night for Chicago and will leave Tuesday for New York, expecting to be back at Almahurst Farm by the week-end.
