t NORTH RANDALL TURF NOTES f * Gene Lutz, fully recovered from illness that plagued him throughout the winter, has taken up the following horses for racing here: Come Home, Dorothy Hicks, Billy-Alabama, Temple Fall, Heavy Sugar and Chinese Game. All were wintered at his nearby farm. One of the largest and best appointed jockey quarters in America is what is boasted at North Randall. Spacious and mod-ernly furnished, this provides comfortable quarters. A request was received from the Paragon Stables, now being campaigned at New York, for stall space here, according to Harvey Short, who is in charge of allocations. The newest type of Bahr gate will be used for all of the starts, it was announced Monday. The contrivance has been assembled and is now ready for use. C. C. Van Meter, veteran Kentucky turfman and breeder, unloaded ten head here Monday morning. The majority of the crop • are two-year-olds.
