j DETROIT TURF NOTES J M. P. Lyons, Lexington, Ky., conditioner, brought China Boy, Schley Nurse, and the veteran Biography from Kentucky. The horses are the property of Sherry Balleras. Jockey T. P. Martin came over Monday from Fairmount Park for the days racing and returned to the southern Illinois track Monday night. Making a successful comeback after an absence of three years out of the saddle, Karl Horvath, who was second leading rider at Beulah Park, checked in Monday. Steward Jack S. Young has warned owners and trainers not to work unlicensed employes. Horsemen found guilty of breaking this rule will be subject to a 5 fine.
