! LINCOLN FIELDS TURF NOTES I s - . $ The Milky Way Farm stable of Mrs. Ethel V. Mars arrived here Monday from Louisville. It embraces twenty-four head. Trainer Roy Waldron supervised the unloading of this establishment. The stables jockey, Alfred Robertson, also is on hand. Monte Weil is here with three horses, his own Bombastic and Band OSilvcr, and Mrs. Rose Sullivans Black River. The Boxer, Critt, White Front and Reigh Begoe are the horses which Joe Grossman has at Lincoln Fields. They have been here since the close of the Hot Springs meeting. Frank Kearns, trainer of the Calumet Farm stable, reported the death of the juvenile filly, Boston Party, which died of heart attack. She was by American Flag and Tea. E. H. Hileman, who will serve here as patrol judge, got in from Florida. The horses Frank Carra has here for James Emery are Dolly Val, Sky Cloud, Pay Check, Penrill and Rolling Heels. He also is training Prince Hal Tor his own account. Howard Wells is due here Monday from Louisville with the twenty-three horses he will race at the Crete track. Jockey Robert Dotter will accompany him. Besides Summit Hill and Determined, which he trains for J. H. Galaway, Leo Jones also brought J. Weiss Cinar from Louisville. Placing judges James T. Clark and Larry C. Boganschutz arrived from Louisville and Covington, respectively. Ernest Hanke, apprentice with the stable of F. P. Letellier, got in Monday morning. He said the Letellier horses would be here in a day or so. J. E. Copenhaver got in from Bay Meadows with eight horses he trains for various owners. The thoroughbreds are Shasta Plucky, Trystrap, Farquhar, Mariolet, Sky Breeze, Gloria G., Dunlin Lady and Silver Kiev. •
