White Sox Defeat Boston, 9-5 . As Dobson Holds Former Mates I BOSTON, Mass., May 16 UP.— The j Chicago White Sox beat the Boston Red 1 Sox a second consecutive time today when 1 Joe Dobson held his former teammates in 1 check to win, 9 to 5. Chicago hopped on Chuck Stobbs for r. five runs in the first inning and added 1 three more in the second off Paul Hin-richs. Billy Evans held the White Sox hit-less until the ninth when a walk, a sacrifice and Chico Carrasquels single added 1 the ninth run. Walt Dropo hit two homers off Dobson, one in the second with nobody on base, ■ the other in the third with two mates 5 aboard. Prior to Dropos second homer, Dom 1 DiMaggio doubled arid scored on a Billy | Goodman single. The Red Sox could not score on Dobson after the third, although 1 they made five more hits off him.
