The five-year-old Athlone — Iosola Guy bay mare finished off the 1950 campaign at Detroit in winning fashion, scoring in her last two starts. The promising trotter went to the races only seven times in 1950. Her last mile was negotiated in 2:13%. It also will be Mrs. Flemings initial drive of the 1951 campaign. The former Lucille McLaughlin is rated on a par with the best women drivers in the business. Asola Adam goes postward in the fifth race and faces Miss Hilbert, Hunch Siskiyou, Highland Wayne, May Victoria, Victory Flag, Judys Pride and Hideaway Hanover. In addition to Asola Adam, 14 other new horses will make their 1951 racing debuts. The first half of the Daily Double brings to light four "green" trotters. Francis Mc, Astra Liner, Speed Right and Pala M. Strictly Cash and Rocket Guy try their luck for the first time in the second event. Judys Pride and Hideaway Hanover are slated to face Asola Adam and five seasoned performers in the fifth. Dwight Hanover, who started against such top trotters as Pronto Don, Stars Pride, Kilroy, Demon Hanover, Chris Spencer and Egan Hanover last year, will have his wind tested in the sixth against King Tom, Hydro Bomb, Brave, Juana Cash, Senator Eblis and Tidewater.
