Phils Cut Outfielder and Two Hurlers to Make Player Limit PHILADELPHIA, Pa., May 16 UP.— The Philadelphia Phillies today sent two o rookie pitchers and an outfielder to minor r league farms on option, bringing them a down to the midnight 25-player limit. Righthander Jack Brittin went to Baltimore of the International League on 24-hour recall. Also on 24-hour recall was outfielder Ed Sanicki, who was sent to o Schenectady of the Eastern League. Pitcher Charles "Buzz" Bowers, who will 11 report from the Michigan State College to o 11 campus, was optioned to Terre-Haute of the Three -I League. All three players were teammates at Tor-;e onto last year.
