Schwartzschild Breeds First Thoroughbred at Alsab Farm LEXINGTON. Ky., May 16. — Henry Schwarzschild, Richmond, Va., jeweler and a newcomer in breeding circles, has bred his first thoroughbred. The foal is a bay colt by Reaping Reward — Pog Pays, and the youngster is the first colt of five foals from his dam. He is at Alsab Farm, where farm manager Charles Zoeller reports that there are six celt and three filly foals, all but one of whom are by Alsab. The other is by the farm stallion Patrimony. One more foal is expected to complete the farms foaling program. One of the foals is a full sister to Alsabs Pay. Another is a colt from I Say, thus a half-brother to the stakes winners Say Blue, Speedy Lee and Say Judge.
