Cards Sell Bilko to Columbus ST. LOUIS, Mo., May 16 UP.— The St. Louis Cardinals today announced the sale of first baseman Steve Bilko to the Columbus Redwings, their American Association farm club. Big Steve, considered one of the clubs brightest prospects, was a disappointment in the field and at bat. He hit only .222 while playing regularly.
