Machise Unopposed for Office GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 16. — It was announced today that John Machise will be unopposed in his nomination for the vice-presidency of the New Jersey division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association in the annual elections to be held here tomorrow. Frank Rosen, his rival candidate, withdrew his name from the ballot yesterday, explaining that he did not feel that he would be able to give the position adequate attention with the pressing duties of his many business interests. He will, however, serve as a committee member, if elected. The voting will take place in the racing secretarys office tomorrow between the hours of 9 a. m. and 3 p. m., with a buffet supper to be served members of the organization in the clubhouse dining room after the last race.
