Breeders1 Day Program At Pimlico Oval Today Cinda-Suze Sin Entry Favored In Featured Back Again Purse PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 16.— The Maryland Jockey Club will play host to thoroughbred breeders from Maryland and Virginia tomorrow, with the usual eight-race program to be proceeded by the annual yearling show presented by the Maryland Horse Breeders Association. Also in conjunction with the days sport will be the running of the Back Again Purse, a race styled for fillies who competed in last years yearling festivities. This four and a half furlongs dash has attracted but five entrants, the field emphasizing class among the homebreds rather than quantity. Placed in third position on the card, the field for the ,500 event matches Jouett Shouses Cinda and Hazel MacCrowes Suze Sin, who are coupled; Mrs. H. H. Hechts Blue Rhymer, Saggy Farms Stans Helen and Everett Lowrances Treetop. Trainer Joe Serio, Jr., will saddle a strong tandem in Cinda and Suze Sin, with the former the more proficient. This homebred daughter of Occupy and Arden Lass has won three of her eight starts, the last two in galloping fashion over the Laurel track. Her most recent victory was at the four and a half furlongs distance and in :54%, while prior to that she stepped the distance in :54 flat while beating, among others, Blue Rhymer. Suze Sin, a daughter of Abbe Pierre, has earned her way in claiming company, winning two of eight starts. In her last effort she was a fast-closing second to Treat, beaten but a neck. Strong contention in the Back Again figures to come from Blue Rhymer, a daughter of The Rhymer. True, she was soundly beaten by Cinda at Laurel, but she came back to be a galloping winner over the local oval, scoring by five lengths in :5425. Possibly she will give the Shouse lassie a run for her money tomorrow afternoon. Then, too, trainer George Mohr is doing especially well at present, leading his rival conditioners during the current meeting with five victories. Stans Helen and Treetop shape up as named, with the former rating a chance to upset calculations off her best effort. She was, however, beaten about a dozen lengths by Blue Rhymer the other day, which would seem to eliminate her. Treetop is a maiden after 12 starts. The Maryland Farms Purse holds down sixth position on tomorrows card and calls for eight three-year-olds to match strides at the five and a half furlongs distance. Mrs. E. H. Augustus has a coupling of Midyear and Besiege in the race, while others entered are C. Ewing Tuttles Tenure, S. W. Labrot, Jr.s, Adelantado, Mrs. H. K. Hickeys Trimship, J. L. Friedmans Fiddler, Mrs. M. R. Lewis Rough Me and R. B. Archers Direct Mister.
