Daingerfield Will Serve As River Downs Steward RIVER DOWNS, California, Ohio, May 16. — The official family for the forthcoming 44-day meeting at River Powns was completed today with the announcement by racing director Henry Green that Keene Paingerfield, author, secretary of the Kentucky State Racing Commission and official at other leading tracks, will return to the stewards stand, serving with Charles Nuckols, Jr., and Monte Weil, recently appointed to replace the retiring Bob Saxton. Tom Brown will be seen in the starterss stand, while Eugene Bury, veteran handi-capper and racing secretary, will assume that post, arranging the daily programs. George Reverman was appointed "tote" manager: Raymond Wymer, clerk of the scales, while Clifford Trimpe will serve as identifier in addition to his duties as docker for Dait.y Racing Form. Paddock judge L. M. Holmes completes the official family. Green also announced that post time will be 2:30 p. m. throughout the meeting, with 23-minute intervals between races on weekdays, while nine-race programs will be carded Saturdays and holidays at 30-minute intervals. The Moto "tote" machines and the Tel-Autograph pay-off system will again be in use throughout the session.
