Y., May 16 UP.— Vic Raschi started slowly and gradually be-a came stronger today, striking out 10 Cleveland batters and permitting only six hits as the New York Yankees won another easy 11 to 3 decision from the Indians. Raschis strikeout total was the one-game high for a major league pitcher this season. In winning his sixth game against only one defeat, he pitched shutout ball after the second inning. He got eight of his strikeouts in the last four innings he worked, then left the game and let rookie Tom Morgan work the ninth when his arm tightened up slightly. Mickey Mantle, the redoubtable Yankee rookie, supplied the bulk of the batting punch. The youngster delivered his fourth homer of the season and his first in Yankee Stadium, a two-run blast in the eighth. Earlier he drove in two other runs with a single. He also had a walk and a stolen base for a busy day.
