Will Offer Gavilan 5,000 To Defend Against Bratton CLEVELAND, Ohio, May 8 UP.— Fight promoter Larry Atkins said today he would offer Kid Gavilan a 5,000 guarantee plus a division of the television receipts, if he will defend his welterweight title against Johnny Bratton here in July. Atkins made his announcement increasing his original offer to Gavilan from 0,000 to 5,000, after Brattons clear-cut decision over Livio Minelli last night.
