Acorn Stakes on TV# Radio NEW YORK. N. Y„ May 8.— The National Broadcasting- Company and the American Broadcasting: Company will air the Acorn Stakes from Belmont Park tomorrow afternoon over their national hook-ups. The program will run from 3 to 3:30 p.m. EDT, with NBC Channel 5, Chicago handling the television coverage and ABC WLS the radio. Once again, Fred Capossela will give the running description, with Sam Renick and Win Elliott doing the color. The Columbia Broadcasting System continues its coverage of eastern events with a radio account of the Dixie Handicap from Pimlico. The race will be heard from 3:45 to 4:00 p.m. CDT, with Ray Haight making the calls a.nd Dave Woods and Charles Purcell giving the [ color commentary.
