Chlopek Former Marine SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 8. — A former marine accepted a mount here the other day in the person of 22-year-old Robert Chlopek, a native of Chicago. Chlopek rode his first winner at Arizona Downs in 1951 and also saw saddle duty at Pair mount Park and Beulah Park. He entered the service in January of 1952 and was honorably discharged recently.
