Aussie to Cover Preakness PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 8.— Pim-licos Preakness Stakes, scheduled for May 23, when it will be run for the seventy-seventh time, will be covered for Australian papers. George T. McGann, sports editor of the Australian Consolidated Press, has notified Pimlico officials that he will be on hand for the race. Australians are doubly interested in this seasons renewal because Dark Star, winner of the Kentucky Derby and Royal Bay Gem, who finished fourth in the Churchill Downs race, are by the Australian sire, Royal Gem II.
