Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. LITTLE F. raced evenly to the stretch, responded to strong handling when kept next to the inner rail for the drive and wore down TULSA in the last sixteenth. TULSA came over on the field after the break, impeded SMOOTH PALM when taking command and held on willingly when set down through the stretch, but was unable to hold the winner. MR. ALSIDE lacked early speed but finished fast. CHIEF GENOA made a good bid in the early stretch, then faltered POLYCHREST was outrun. SMOOTH PALM began fast, raced with TULSA to the stretch, then weakened. SILVERY tired after showing early foot SHAMROCK LAD raced wide. CEREMONY was far back throughout, giving a dull effort. EASTER WINGS," keen factor from the start, raced DOUBLE BLUSH into defeat entering the stretch and drew clear when ridden out. BIG POP saved ground while racing evenly in the first half mile, remained next to the inner rail for the stretch run and closed well but could not threaten the winner. MR. SKEETER gave a good effort and had no mishap. DOUBLE BLUSH raced with EASTER WINGS until inside the stretch, then weakened. BENANDEAR lacked early speed, but finished strongly. POLAR BATTLE, between horses throughout, was outrun. BOLD BANDIT began sluggishly. ADELANTADO raced wide. RIPTON could not keep up. AIR ARM tired after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. CUB showed nothing. CONVIDADO bolted soon after the break. FAIR PILOT, never far back, closed willingly under punishment, but could not get to the winner. RUTHIE S. began sluggishly, was hustled to reach serious contention and, racing in close quarters during the last three-eighths, faltered when near the end. HIGH DRIFT was outrun. LOST PENNY, rank at the post, tired during the stretch run. BAHIA was through early. MAHMETTE was far back throughout. BUSY DAN raced wide. DUPAN galloped off a furlong before the start, displayed brief speed, then quit. AFFECTION, taken up sharply immediately after the break, showed nothing. B0NRILLA went to the front at once, entered the stretch with a long lead, but faltered during the last sixteenth and could not withstand the winner. BETJE, away sluggishly, was hustled to reach serious contention, then raced evenly. JACKT0WN raced nearest B0NRILLA to the final furlong, then weakened. DIAMOND M0RAN raced wide through the stretch. JACK TAR, outrun and saving ground to the last three-eighths mile, moved up fast between horses during the stretch run and, after bumping with ELI COOKIE, held the latter safe. ELI COOKIE, forwardly placed in hand to the finish, bumped with JACK TAR when near the sixteenth mile pole, recovered and finished strongly but could not hold the winner. ALDENSON went to the front early, set the pace to the stretch, then faltered during the drive. SIX-THREE-FOUR, saving ground from the beginning, reached the lead during the stretch run but failed to stay. IN DEEP could not keep up. SAY-BELLE, well handled, gradually worked way forward to the stretch, was sent to the outside for the drive and, responding to brisk urging, wore down WISE CRICKET in the last sixteenth. WISE CRICKET took command at the outset, set the pace to the stretch under good rating, held on willingly when set down for the drive but was unable to withstand the top one, although much the best of the others. BABY KATHY, roughed up at the first turn, raced well when clear but could not get to the leaders when hard urged through the stretch. BLOODY BATTLE bore out soon after the break, forcing BABY KATHY and OUR SUSAN wide, made a mild bid in the early stretch, then weakened. OUR SUSAN failed to recover after the crowding at the first turn. BIG DEDE tired after racing well to the stretch. BUSY VICTORY showed nothing. PRINCESS LETTA failed to stay after showing early foot.
