Smithwick Injured in Fall BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 8. — Steeplechase jockey Pat Smithwick was injured when he fell with Mrs. John Burkes Archery at the ninth fence in todays jumping event. The boy was taken to Physicians Hospital, Jackson Heights, thought to be suffering from a fractured left collarbone.
