, Pictura and Tintary Score In Ft. Miami Double Races FORT MIAMI, Maumee, Ohio, May 8. — A couple of aged matrons, Pictura and Tintary, combined their talents from the same starting stall, number seven, to provide their supporters in the crowd of 1,581 at Fort Miami with a tidy 4.20 pay-off. Pictura, a seven-year -old daughter of Pictor — On Go, gained a narrow nose victory in the curtain-raiser over a drying-out track which was still heavy from two days of rain. Pictura was guided by Howard Craig and paid .40 for her individual effort from post seven. Tintary scored a more emphatic victory, winning by five lengths over the heavy track. Charlie Collins was never in doubt with the Tintagel — Story Time matron, who returned .80 in her role as favorite. Both mares had been previously raced over the Maumee strip. Things were slightly different in the third race of the day as Mrs. Helen Loneys first-time starter, Tagels Cat, led every step of the five and a half furlongs journey to score at first asking. The three-year-old maiden returned a 6.20 mutuel.
