Cherwell Topweight at 152 For National Hunt Cup MALVERN, Pa., May 8— Assigned the impost of 152 pounds by the handicapper, Cherwell, owned by William C. Robinson, Jr., of Ligonier, Pa., rates the highweight in Saturdays thirty-second running of the National Hunt Cup, to be run over a two-mile brush course, The handicap highlights the twenty-third annual spring race meeting of the local Radnor Hunt Club. Although he won only one race last year, Cherwell s victory was in the gruelling and valuable Pbxcatcher National Cup steeplechase at Pair Hill, Md Making one start this season, the half-brother of the famous Elkridge finished a close second to Weather Deck in the Mary Mellon Steeplechase at Middleburg, Va., receiving three pounds under the highweight.
