Five Yankees Lease Oil Land MILES CITY, Mont., May 8 UP.— Five members of the New York Yankees baseball team apparently hope to strike it rich in oil on a fringe of the Willston basin near here. Custer County officials revealed Thursday that five players for the baseball team have leased 227 mineral acres in the county. The ball players involved in the lease are Ed Lopat, Johnny Mize, Vic Raschi, Phil Riz-zuto and Allie Reynolds.
