MABEKKY quickly raced into the runner-up position, could not Tjain under punishment in the stretch and was weakening at the end. SAUSALITO raced slightly wide improving position on the turn and could not seriously menace. DICKS DIAMOND was a forward factor and faltered. FAIRY HASTE saved ground throughout. JOAN OF ARC was quickly urged into command, established a long lead for the stretch run and won handily. MAGAGABAG steadily dropped back from a swift beginning, responded slowly to urging on the final turn, then closed fast in the last three-sixteenths. LADY SAMM, fractious at the gate, made a rapid run into contention on the turn and loomed a threat, then hung. BOLD MYTH "gave an even effort. TASTY DISH raced forwardly to appear dangerous on the final turn, then faltered suddenly. TRIPLAY raced wide. The others never figured. MEG MARCH was roused after a half-mile, had to take up and to the outside on the far turn, then gradually wore down the leaders and was slowly going away at the end. MARAUD was rushed into command rounding the far turn, could not draw clear and had little left when challenged by the winner. BACCALA saved ground and loomed threatenningly entering the stretch, but hung. FIRST SPUR raced well in front for five furlongs and faltered. TOP COMMAND ran in climbing fashion and was outdistanced early. DEARIES ROUND and DOLLARGOFAST quit Meg March claimed by Anita C. Heard. Maraud claimed by Ruth M. Fink. FOURTH RACE 1 1-16~ MILES. DOIT raced with the first flight under intermittent urging, overcame interference from SPRING FROLIC at the furlong pole and closed resolutely to narrowly best GREAT MOGUL. The latter quickly went to the front, was occasionally under strong restraint while setting the pace, then just fialed to last under loose handling. SPRING FROLIC was rated in a forward position, came between the leaders to show in front in the drive, then swerved and weakened. BALLYNEETY was knocked back by MURIEL at the start, raced forwardly under restraint, then tired in the drive. FOXALONIA faltered. MURIEL broke into BALLYNEETY and gave a dull effort. FOURDEES was in hand while gradually racing to the leaders and easily drew away in the stretch run. PARTY LEADER had to be stoutly restrained while lacking room behind WINTHER going to the far turn, was eased back, came to the outside in the stretch and finished willingly. AMPHISPIRIT lacked early speed and was guided wide for a strong rally in the last three-sixteenths. WlNTHER was lightly reserved while showing the most speed, but faltered when challenged in the stretch. I SALUTE, a sharp factor to the stretch, was pocketed briefly at the three-sixteenths pole and faltered. MISS WEESIE was not a factor. WISER YET showed nothing. Scratched— 87406 Itsmay, 109. BLENFLY was well placed behind the first flight, rapidly moved through next to the rail to take command on the stretch "turn, then drew out to a long lead. WOODLANDS vied for the pace between horses and held on gamely to best IRON HEEL. The latter saved ground to hold a short advantage rounding the turn, then held on fairly well in the drive. SARY was •rallying well when forced to take to the outside in the closing stages. HOOP WISE saved ground and rallied mildly. HELFAST was outrun. ANTHONY C. was outrun. TROY WEIGHT quit.
