FUTURAMATIC ran a good race and finished fairly well but appeared to be outclassed by the winner. CROSS RING showed good early speed and held on exceptionally well for five and a half furlongs. BATTLE H, outrun early, moved vigorously between horses after entering the stretch, held on tenaciously to withstand the closing bid of ISOMUR. The latter was never too far away and staged a good finish on the outside. JANES GAL rushed to the front after going half the trip and enjoyed a good advantage turning for home, then weakened.
