HYPERPLAY followed the early pace, took command on the stretch turn and held off FALSE FRONT under pressure. The latter moved boldly on the stretch turn to race head and head with HYPERPLAY and held on gamely. ALAMANDA, within striking distance, could not menace the leaders. GAME FLOWER loomed a factor on the stretch turn, then weakened in the drive. FIGHTING GAL turned in an even effort. SOME CASE was through early. RED POPPY showed little. FRESH BREEZE would not extend herself in the early part and broke down badly in the early stretch.
