MILAN BOY broke alertly, remained within striking distance of the pace, engaged for command on the final turn, rallying in the final yards to draw away. IDEALIST was outrun for the early lead, assumed command after a half-mile, saved ground and held on gamely when challenged. WHITSUNTIDE, never far off the pace, rallied mildly in the late stages. INLET MISS dropped off the early pace, responded when set down, but was not good enough. BOLOG rushed boldly on the final turn, then appeared to hang. REBEE showed a dull effort. FLUSHING DUSK was under early pressure to set the pace for a half-mile and retired steadily after giving way. Overweight— Inlet Miss, 2 pounds. NINTH RACE ABOUT 1 1-16 MILES turf course. The latter assumed command after a half mile, .saved ground, but was not good enough, LADY ROUNDERS, never far off the pace, was blocked trying to come through along the brush in the stretch, eased out, but was unable to threaten. DOREENS BOY went evenly. CAROGA Jacked early speed. ENTHUSED showed nothing. RED SWIVEL quit. The others were outrun.
