Silberman Heads Executive Committee of Grid Browns RANDALL PARK, North Randall, Ohio, June 18. — Northern Ohios racing season is just approaching its climax, but already president Saul Silberman of the Randall Park Jockey Club is scanning wider horizons.* Last week Silberman, along with Homer Marshman, Ellis Ryan and Dave Jones, Cleveland sportsmen who recently purchased an interest in Randall Park, became a football magnate. The group purchased the Cleveland Browns of the National Professional Football League from Arthur McBride who has owned the club since it was organized back in 1946, for 00,000. Marshman has been named president of the Browns and Silberman will serve as chairman of the executive committee. The Browns under coach Paul Brown will go to their traveling camp late in July and will play a series of exhibition games, including two on the West Coast against the Los Angeles rams and the San Francisco Forty-Niners before the opening of the regular season.
