0 Westrope Injures Ankle DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 18. — Jockey Jack Westrope canceled his mounts following Wednesdays third race after having twisted his ankle badly in the preceding race. Westrope was injured astride Whirling Dough, who bounced the riders leg against the stall partition of the starting gate. Arnold Kirkland received a fractured bone in his foot Tuesday in a « similar- mishap. Westrope. left immediately. for Wilmington to have X-rays taken of the injured member. He will resume riding ■on Saturday.
