The latter raced in a favorable position from the outset, drove through on the inside on the stretch turn, and then faltered. BUBBLESTREAM lacked a rally. XAPATTER was never a serious contender. JO TED showed little. KNIGHT-AT-ARMS was never a factor. AIR QUEEN stopped badly. GAY LARKSPUR rushed up into contention on the near turn and then flattened out. Overweight Xapatter, 4 pounds.
