Plane Lands in Infield THISTLEDOWN, Warrensville, Ohio, Aug. 28. Working men in the ThistleDown infield today took off -for cover behind the newly erected odds board as that area suddenly became an impromptu emergency landing field. A Cleveland attorney, with two vacation-bound friends as passengers, was forced to land his light cabin plane when engine trouble developed shortly after his take-off from a nearby airport. There were no injuries to either the pilot or passengers and the plane was undamaged. Fortunately, the ThistleDown infield had recently been cut and rolled in anticipation of the September 11 opening. , 1 7 1 2 5
