Ask Horsemen to Give Full Support to Del Mar Program DEL MAR, Calif., Aug. 28. Charles T. Leavitt, vice-president of the HBPA called a meeting of horsemen this morning in the Del Mar stable area and encouraged them to give their full support to the remainder of the Del Mar program. Some horses already have departed for Golden Gate Fields and Las Vegas and it is understood nearly 200 are scheduled to leave over the week-end. Leavitt reminded the horsemen of their pledge to give the Del Mar meeting their full cooperation when they received from the track a promise to give them 40 per cent"" of the pari-mutuel take. No emergency has yet developed at Del Mar, but if horses leave here in too substantial numbers during the next few days, racing secretary John Maluyius may have some difficulty filling his programs during the final stages of the meeting.
