James Moran Suffers Serious Injuries in Hamilton Mishap HAMILTON, Ohio, Aug. 28. The spectator injured on Thursday when the horse, She May Do, bolted into the crowd on the lower turn at Hamilton was identified as James Moran, age 36, of Madisonville, Ohio. Moran was rushed to Mercy Hospital in nearby Hamilton, where he was found to have several crushed ribs, internal -injuries and a severe head injury. His conditoin was described as serious. Moran was either struck by the runaway horse or smashed by the top rail of the outside fence which broke as She May Do attempted to jump the railing. Jockey Jimmy Barnes suffered a badly bruised left arm and was awaiting the outcome of X-rays to determine the possibility of a break. She May Do escaped with a badly skinned left foreleg.
