Ten-Horse Doug Dayis Unit Arrives af Narragansetf Park NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R. I., Aug. 28. Doug Davis, Jr., prominent Breeder and trainer of thoroughbreds and owner of the Glencairn Stud Farm of Lexington, Ky., arrived this morning with 10 head from Randall Park, Ohio. The Davis string was headed by the veteran star, Three Rings, who will be pointed to Narra-gansetts top stakes. Also included in the contingent were Elaine Ruth, another stakes candidate; Hall Print and Natchez Girl, a pair of two-year-olds that will contest the juvenile stakes on the schedule; Bless America, Welcome Guest, Admirals Wave, Miss Tinker, Carmelette and Pampas Beauty. Willie Hartack, nations second ranking rider, did not accompany the Davis shipment, remaining at the Ohio course to fulfill several important stakes engagements, but is expected to join the Kentucky horseman soon after Labor Day. Davis reports that his sensational apprentice rider, Tommy Clinch, will arrive on Monday and, along with the veteran Marcus Pena, will handle his racers.
