Dayy Boy and Bossy Sis Come Through as Choices at Dade DADE PARK, Henderson, Ky., Aug. 28. The second to final Friday program of the 29-day summer meeting of the Dade Park Jockey Club was offered here today and despite 90-odd degree weather, more than 4,000 racing fans turned out for the seven-race card, featured by the Vendome Purse, a six furlongs dash, in which seven went postward. The feature, along with the fourth race, a maiden affair for two-year-olds, were the only races without claiming clauses attached. Davy Boy, a four-year-old son of War Liberator, won the opening race, a one-mile event in which nine faced starter Reuben White. Wise Dame was second with the minor award going to Vinita War. Installed the favorite, Davy Boy had to stand a long drive to outgame Wise Dame. The latter, after permitting Court Grand and Jes Tack to make the early pace, went to the front on the far turn and held sway to the last jump when the favorite swung to the outside and got the nod. Davy Boy was unable to keep up early and was sixth position to the head of the stretch. Frank Maher had the mount on the winner. Another public choice, Bossy Sis, had to give her best to win the second race, a six furlongs heat, holding safe Arrested, a long shot, in a furious stretch duel. At the end Bossy Sis drew away to win by little more than a length. Arrested was two lengths before Lucile T., the third horse. With two choices winning the Daily . Double races it was worth only 1.80. Tl smallest at this meeting was .80, while the largest paid was ,224.20.
