Zulueta, Gonsalves Tangle Tonight in Madison Garden NEW YORK, N. Y., June 17 UP.— Orlando Zulueta, of Cuba, was favored at 6-5 today to beat Johnny Gonsalves of Oakland, Calif., Friday night in their return 10 -round lightweight contenders fight at Madison Square Garden. It will be televised and broadcast nationally. Skinny Gonsalves won a decision over £ulueta on November 28, 1952. However, Zulueta is now the second-ranking contender; Gonsalves, fifth. Zulueta, 25, is a left-jab specialist who won four straight starts this year. He outpointed Al Duarte and Dennis Pat Brady, stopped Paoli Rosi, and decisioned Percy Bassett on May 17. His record is 50-19-9, including six knockouts. Gonsalves, 23, beat Jimmy McCoy and Bud Smith in his only bouts this year.
