Stewards1 Rulings DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 17. — -Following- are the rulings • handed down by the stewards today: "Jockey William J. Passmore is suspended for 10 days, effective Friday, June 18, to Sunday, June 27, inclusive, for careless riding astride ,Iforu going into the first turn in the first race on Thursday, June 15. "Jockey Norman Cox is fined 0 for failing to follow the proper unsaddling procedure as provided for in Rules 159 and 160 of the rules of racing following the fifth race on Wednesday, June 16. Cox mount was the victorious Repetoire. "Trainer Stanley C. Mikell, owner of Repetoire, is fined 0 for failing to follow the proper unsaddling procedure as provided for in-Rules 159 and 160 of the rules of racing following the fifth race on Wednesday, June 16." THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, Ohio, June 17. — The ThistleDown stewards issued the following ruling here today: "The stewards, after being unable to contact trainer A. Greenberg at ThistleDown, have permitted W. E. Russell to assume the unexpired contract of apprentice Leo M. Wise, previously held by trainer A. Greenberg, who is presently serving a suspension by the Florida Racing Commission." POLO PARK, Winnipeg, Manitoba, June 17. — The Polo Park stewards issued the following ruling under date of June 14: "For uttering a false and malicious statement regarding an official, owner and trainer Les Lear is fined the sum of 00." LANSDOWNE PARK, Vancouver, B. C, June 17. — The Lansdowne stewards issued the following: ruling: "For causing interference during the fifth race on Monday, June 14, while astride Utmost, jockey J. Sivewright was suspended for three days commencing Wednesday, June 16."
