Record Fifty-Five Named for Primer Features Opening Card at Arlington MaineChance Nominates Six For June 24 Feature; Wright Memorial Draws Twenty-Five Racing secretary Fredrick G. "Pat" Far-rell revealed yesterday that a record 55 two-year-olds have been named for Arlington Parks 5,000-added Primer Stakes. The five and one-half furlongs sprint will highlight next Thursdays opening-day program. Last year the Primer drew only 32 nominees. Farrell also made known the names of 25 nominees to the 5,000-added Warren Wright Memorial. While this is not a record number, it nevertheless indicates horsemens interest in the forthcoming competition, particularly in the three-year-old v division. The Warren Wright is a seven-furlong affair to be decided Saturday, June 26. Biggest nominator to the Primer was Maine Chance Farm with- six. They are Fantine Busher, Belle Busher, Model Ace, Apollo, Jets War Date and the imported Queens Guard. Hasty House Farm is represented by three, including Silver Robby, who ran second in a division of the Joliet Stakes. Eugene Constantin Jr. and Clifford Mooers also nominated three each. - Hasty Road in Wright Other highly regarded juveniles named include Claiborne Farms Ambiguous and Sunny Side Stables Beau Brummel Stakes victor, Beau Busher. Top candidates for the Warren Wright are Hasty Houses Preakness champion, Hasty Road, and. his stablemate, Sea O Erin; Maine Chances Withers Stakes victor, Jet Action, and Walmac Farms Hasseyampa, who finished third in both the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness. Other ranking stakes runners named for * the sophomore sprint include the Constantin stables Busher s" Beam and River Flow, Dixianas Roman Spy, Greenacres and Circle Ls Mr. Prosecutor, Hal Price Head-leys Pinetum and Revolt, Rebel Stables Super Devil, Sunny Blue Farms Admiral Porter, Reverie Knoll Farms Bullheim and Leather Kid, and Clifford Lusskys Tuosix.
