Expect Big Attendance For NASRC Convention MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 17. — Some 200 delegates to the National Association of State Racing Commissioners and their wives will arrive in Asbury Park Sunday for the associations three-day convention beginning next Monday. Hugh L. Mehorter of Woodbury, a, member of the New Jersey Racing Commission and president of the national association, will preside at the convention sessions at the Berkeley-Carteret Hotel. • Delegates will be present from 26 states and Canada, Mexico, Cuba and Puerto Rico. Mehorter says a heavy agenda confronts the delegates on a variety of subjects affecting the supervision of racing, including a continuing move to bringjtbout uniformity between the states in the matter of racing rules and regulations.
