GOLDEN FIDDLE, slow to settle into stride, circled his field when rallying on the second turn and wore down the leaders in the early stretch. SARACEN DEVIL, outrun early, moved through between horses in the late stages but could not menace the winner. NEB JR. showed speed while saving ground to the stretch. OLD STANDBY was taken in hand when blocked on leaving the backstretch and made up some ground when clear. BASSINGTON was through early. The latter, held in reserve early, moved up between horses on entering the stretch and was clearly best of the others. HEROS QUEEN saved ground in an even effort. BELLE CHANTEUSE was never a serious factor. PAPER WARE showed some early speed. PERION LAND failed to reach a contending position. LACEY HEART was always far back. CASH ME IN was through early. PUSAN was outrun early, made his bid from between horses to finish full of run and worked on out another quarter mile. FANCY GENT was prominent from the start and held on fairly well. MARSHAL AT ARMS, restrained off the early pace, was forced to come out on entering the stretch and while being carried wide proved slightly best in a stiff drive. ETERNAL MARK, badly outrun early, slipped through along the inner rail in the stretch and was getting to the winner. MY BANKER had speed from the start, drifted out while under pressure on entering the stretch and held on stubbornly. HAT BOX saved some ground and finished strongly. AMYN BEY was void of early speed. BLUE WAYNE was throuqh early. NOBLE TRY was used up in vying for the early lead. DR. HAB UNSEATED HIS RIDER IN THE POST PARADE, RAN OFF FOR THREE-QUARTERS AND WAS ORDERED EXCUSED BY THE STEWARDS. The latter forced the pace while in hand, moved up boldly under pressure to wrest command a furlong away and narrowly missed.
