Paul Risley Fractures Vertebra In Back When Thrown GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 7.— Exercise boy Paul Risley was injured here this morning when he was tossed from Hal Price Headleys Pine turn in a morning workout. The saddle girth slipped causing the boy and horse to go down. Risley, from Belcoville, N. J., was taken to Cooper Hospital in Camden, where it was reported that he had fractured a vertebra in his back. Risley, a brother, of jockey Lay ton Risley, will be bedridden for several week?.
