Success of Count Speeds Juveniles Highly Pleasing Three Youngsters Sired by Hertz Stallion Win in Impressive Style PARIS, Ky., May 7.— Mr. and Mrs. John D. Hertz, now on their annual springtime visit to their Stoner Creek Stud here, are highly elated by news from California concerning the fine performances during the past 10 days of three two-year-olds by Count Speed, Count Fleets brother who stands at the Hertz Amarillo Ranch in the Golden State. During the eight - day period from Wednesday, April 27 to May 2, the trio each scored in impressive style in their racing debuts. The climax was reached this past Wednesday when Mobile, a son of Count Speed and Kindergarten, racing for the Arcadia Stable, scored a three-length victory over Precocious and Document, Citations first offspring to go post-ward on the West Coast. Mobile, who raced the five panels over the Golden Gate strip in :58, won at the expense of his three-quarter brother, as Precocious also is by Count Speed and is out of Kindergartens stakes-winning daughter, Nursery School. Both Mobile and Precocious were bred by Mr. and Mrs. Hertz. Earlier in the week, Pats Count, a son of Count Speed and Pats Queen, won easily for his owners and breeders, Mr. and Mrs. C. G.
