CHAIT FIFTH IN A SERIES OF 1955 FOALS BY LORD PUTNAM This is a good looking, intelligent chestnut filly by LORD PUTNAM out of LATIN ROSE when she was only a month old. The mare is by Vezzano by Ortello and he was the best horse of his year in Italy, and also one of the top sires there with thirty-two stakes winners. In this country, Vezzano is producing more winners each season. In 1952 he was represented by 13 winners, in 1953 with 17 and last year with 28, and they include the staV.es winners Charms Saddle Tramp and Cow Horn. LATIN ROSE was the fifth of eleven top mares bred by Owner Chait who are due to foal this season in Kentucky. Lord Putnam has received an excellent book of mares in his first three seasons at stud — 1953, 54 and 55 — with full books each year. Most important, he was patronized by both market breeders and those who breed to race. 1955 FEE ,000— BOOK FULL Now Booking for 1956 aii inqunies to Samuel M.
