Carrara; Wed by J D Weil IN GATE— 5:53. OFF AT 5:54 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. LIL FORST, taken in hand early and steadied along to the second turn where she was sent up on the outside to wear down STANS HELEN, drew out while saving ground and was hard ridden to hold TIMUS safe. The latter commenced to advance from the outside on leaving the backstretch and, while unable to reach the winner, he was clearly best of the others. WOHNEDA found her best stride too late. THE PHOENIX was void of early speed and made up some ground while racing between horses in the late stages. SHINY KNIGHT had no apparent excuse in an even effort. ALIES was always far back. Shiny Knight claimed by Double T Stable. __________ -— — — — — —
